Philippa Hanna is one of the UK's brightest talents. Her songs and stories are captivating audiences around the globe.
Taking in over 100 performances each year since the launch of Watching Me in 2007 it’s clear that Philippa is following in the footsteps of the of her bassist brother Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, Mark Ronson) by making her mark in the music industry. Not only devoting her time to music, Philippa visited Haiti in 2009 with international children's charity Compassion and has helped to recruit hundreds of sponsors for the charity's work at her concerts since the launch of her 2nd album Taste.
Philippa spent much of her time at the end of 2010 in Hong Kong working as a part of the development team Asia's premier girlband Blush. The televised project, put together by producer Eliot Kennedy (Bryan Adams, Spice Girls) and Jon Niermann (former President of Walt Disney Asia-Pacific) has generated huge global interest.
After kicking off 2011 with an appearance on the BBC's Songs of Praise and the release of the live studio recording 'Out of the Blue' EP Philippa hit the ground running appearing at events and festivals through out the year. Not content with appearing at large UK events such as Green Belt & Big Church Day out she has also taken her music out events and festivals in Europe.
Already 2012 is set to bring bigger things. Philippa is starting the year by touring the UK's coffee shops with popular guitarist Roo Walker. Together they'll be delivering a world-class evening of entertainment blending songs and inspirational stories with cups of coffee. Philippa will be previewing new songs and stories whilst also offering her brand new DVD 'Live At The Lantern', recorded earlier in 2011.
